Caramelized Pear and Chocolate Smoothie

Although it takes a bit more time to make, it is well worth it. The caramelized pears are delicate, but delicious and the chocolate is just what they need to make them shine.

Yield	1 serving
Ingredients	2 ripe pears, peeled and sliced 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 cups almond milk 2 tablespoons raw almonds 2 tablespoons cocoa powder 1 pinch nutmeg 1 pinch cinnamon powder
Method	Heat the brown sugar in a skillet and melt it until golden brown. Add the pear slices and saute for 5 minutes on low heat. Let them cool down then combine them with the rest of the ingredients in your Nutribullet. Pulse until well blended and smooth then serve the smoothie right away.
