- Garlic (grated): 1 tbsp
- Butter: 2 tbsp
- Black pepper powder: 1/4 tsp
- Water: 1/4 cup
- Cornstarch: 1 tbsp (to dissolve in water)
Method
Preparing the sauce:
- Melt butter in a pan and add grated garlic to it. Fry it till it becomes light golden brown.
- After this, add tomato sauce, honey, vinegar, soya sauce, and red chili powder to the pan. Mix well.
Getting the consistency:
- Add water and black pepper powder to it. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
- Now dissolve the cornstarch in some water and add it to the pan. Cook it, stirring continuously, until the sauce thickens.
Adjust to taste:
If you want the sauce sweeter, add a little more honey. For a sour taste, you can increase the vinegar.
